Why I’m running 

• Wasn’t aware we could advocate for students of colour at UEA!
• I've faced my fair share of racism on campus.
• Found that a lot of students of color have had similar experiences but can’t find anyone to talk to about it.

Goals

• Create a safer space for SOC by hiring more POC security.
• More awareness on reporting and welfare for racism.
• Create a sense of belonging for international students.
• Provide more diverse food options on campus (not everyone likes fish&chips!!!)
• Collab with NUA to organize multicultural exhibits.
• Collab with Career Central to create more job opportunities for students without a British passport.

Why vote for me?

As an international student, I’ve experienced all the struggles of moving to a completely different country firsthand - from struggling to make friends, huge culture shocks, and decoding British slang, I’ve really seen it all. I know that I’m the only one, and that’s why I’m committed to creating opportunities to share our experiences, support each other during an already stressful period, and just simply hang out or go out! Whether you're a student of colour or an international student, I'm here for you.
