Red Bar

A chilled out space, designed to recreate "pub vibes" - hang out, play pool and socialise. If you have your campus card with you, this is where you can get your table tennis equipment, too!

Sat: 12:00 - 00:00
Sun: 16:00 - 22:00

Blue Bar

A multi-purpose function area, great for hosting events - complete with DJ booth! Events hosted here include Spectrum, THE LGBTQ+ UEA club night, and Sports Night when it's not in the LCR.

Scholars Bar is a dedicated space for post-graduate and mature students found upstairs in Union House. Whilst the bar may be closed at weekends, the space is still open for you to use to study and relax in.

Please bear in mind that even when the bar is closed, alcohol not bought on the premeses cannot be consumed in Scholars.

Postgraduate Open Mic Nights at Scholars Bar

Fancy getting involved in an open mic night in Scholars? Whether you're a poet, singer songwriter, or just want to tell some jokes, it's up to you.
