Your officers represent you in a number of campaigns throughout the year, whether it's our priority campaigns, campaigns relating to education, campaigns relating to welfare or our efforts on liberation of marginalised groups.

Starting the Night Bus scheme in collaboration with First Bus which provides students public transport after a night out. (FTO: 2024-onwards)
Brought back the Education Society (EDU Convenor: 2025)
First community-building event of the year, welcoming new members into the non-visible disabilities community and encouraging inclusion. (PTO: 2025)
Co-launched a disability awareness initiative, representing different visible and non-visible disabilities each week on social media. (PTO: 2025)
Organised the Winter Market in December 2025 and a crafts fair in January 2026. (FTOs: 2025-2026)
Fought for UEA students in parliament and worked with our MP Clive Lewis to help students (FTO: 2024-onwards)
Saved the pharmacy on campus from being removed as it changed hands from Boots (FTO: 2023-2025)
Hosted a free concert in The Square on campus to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of UEA (FTO: 2024)
Organised and hosted a Black History Month Cultural Showcase at the Waterfront. (FTO: 2025)
Hosted weekly free breakfast open for all postgraduate students, and launched a free hot drinks service within the postgraduates kitchen in Union House. (FTOs: 2024-2025)
Your student officers make a commitment to the student body in their manifestos, which they follow up on once elected. Alongside their busy meeting schedules and bustling social media presence, they also respond to key national and global issues and keep you up to date with all the SU is doing.
