Transforming Education Awards (TEAs)

A Word From The UEA Vice Chancellor

“I have been so impressed by the resilience and dedication shown by our staff and students in the past two years through very challenging circumstances. It is wonderful to see campus full of activity again and to see students benefiting from everything which UEA has to offer. I appreciate the work of all UEA staff in ensuring that students have a great education experience here. Good luck and thank you to all those nominated in this year’s Transforming Education Awards.”

- David Richardson, VCO

Winners '22

The time has come to announce our winners of the Transforming Education Awards '22! This year, the awards will be announced online through five videos - one a day throughout the week commencing 20th June. We will be releasing a longer video with ALL our winners at the end of the week.

We would like to thank all our nominees and those that took the time to nominate in the awards. Good luck!

Why are TEAs important?

The Transforming Education Awards provide UEA staff and students with an opportunity to thank and reward those exceptional members of university staff who have had a positive impact on them and their educational career. This can be lecturers, academic advisors, student representatives or other members of the university staff.

We have 15 awards up for grabs, ranging from School of the Year Award to the NEW Most Impactful on PGT Experience Award and we need your input to make sure we recognise all the talented individuals UEA has to offer!

After a difficult two years, we are incredibly proud of how our students and staff have handled a return to in-person teaching and we want to reward those who have gone the extra mile to support their students and their education. Teaching staff are an integral part of the university experience for all of our students and it is important for us to recognise and celebrate where this is being done well.

What's it like?

We’ve previously had such a good time celebrating the TEAs in person, and we look forward to bringing this back in 2022/23!

Here's some of the best bits from '19 - '21.
