Movember are the only charity tackling men's health on a global scale, year round. Using their international platform, they raise awareness around some of the biggest health issues that men can face: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Since their formation in 2003, Movember has grown a lot, inspiring support from over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas year in, year out. Thanks to these incredible people, Movember have been able to fund more than 1,200 projects saving and improving lives of men all around the world.

Similar to uea(su), Movember have their own set of principals that they apply to everything they do in the name of men's health.

In partnership with UEA, we will be putting on a full array of events over the course of Movember 2023 - keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook to keep updated, as well as those of any club or society you're in!
At UEA the Sportspark and sports teams get behind Movember and push the charity to raise both awareness and funds. Evie, your Activities and Opportunities Officer, is working with James and Tom to support their work with Movember and provide as many activities as they can to really get you "mo-ving".
As part of their initiative, this triumphant trio are trying to drive the conversation and raise awareness of men’s mental health at UEA. They will be working to engage and support groups who feel that they might not be able to engage with Movember, whether due to gender or not being able to grow a tache! However, everybody has a man in their life; father, partner, sibling, friend, colleague etc – so have the conversation for them.

As an Individual
Visit this link to set up your own profile on the Movember page and start raising money for the cause. You can do this in a number of ways – from "growing a mo" to sports activities and beyond, more details are available on the official Movember website.
As a Team
Once you have created an individual account you can join a team (see left hand button in your ‘mo space’) so you can work together to raise money for Movember, for example as a club or society - this is a great way to see how much your specific team has raised.
It's a classic look - suave, sophisticated... Sometimes. At least you'll turn a few heads? Who knows, you might even like it!
Patchy, lopsided, itchy or epic – whatever Mo you grow this Movember, your face will raise funds and awareness for men’s health.
Fancy yourself a runner? Whether you're Usain Bolt, a part-time dabbler with the tracks or just want to take a walk - you can do it your way and collect funds for an amazing cause!
Run or walk 60km over the month. That’s 60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.
Are you the Come Dine With Me host of your friend group? The host(/-ess) with the most(/-ess)? Show us what you've got!
Rally a crew and do something fun and easy, virtual or in person. Hosting is all about having a good time for a good cause.
