Candidate for the position of International Students Officer - Non EU Place (PT)

Prasad Kadam

Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges, Uniting Cultures

My mission as an International Student Officer is to represent and advocate for the interests and concerns of international students on campus.
First and foremost, my aim is to ensure that international students have access to resources and support that will help them succeed academically, socially, and culturally. This includes collaborating with university administration to establish programs and initiatives that provide academic and personal support for international students. In addition, I will work to build bridges between international students and the broader student body, promoting cross-cultural exchange and understanding. This includes organizing events that showcase the diversity of cultures and perspectives on campus and creating opportunities for international students to connect with domestic students and form meaningful relationships. Furthermore, I will advocate for the right policies and practices that support the needs and interests of international students. To achieve these goals, I will communicate regularly with international students to ensure that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. I will also work closely with other members of the Student Union to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to create a welcoming environment for all students.
In conclusion, as an International Student Officer, my goal is to create a more inclusive and welcoming campus environment for all students. By working together with the Student Union, I believe that we can make significant progress in supporting the needs and interests of international students, and in building a more diverse and culturally rich community.
