Hi, I'm Jack. I'm a first-year biochemistry undergraduate student and this year I've represented all the first-year biochemistry students as their Academic Representative on the School of Biological Science's Staff Student Liaison Committee. I'm hoping you'll elect me as the Faculty Convenor for Science so that I can help all students in the faculty, not just the people in my year on my course.

What do I want to do, for you, if I'm elected next year?

I want to make sure that you feel you're getting the most out of your course. We are paying for our education, if most students feel the course isn't living up to your expectations, I'll help you to try to get the change you want.

I will make sure that you are listened to. You will give your academic representatives and school convenors feedback about your course and I will make sure the necessary issues are dealt with in the meeting or are progressed to a higher level.
