Hello there! I am Emily, a Year 1 international student aspiring to make the most out of uni. 

My Focus

• Timetabling issues in first years: we have endured days with extended hours of lectures and little to no breaks

What I’ve done

• Collected timetable schedules from Year 1 BIO students
• Attended Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meetings and raised the timetable issue

My Next Steps

• Raise the issue to the SU if it is not resolved
• Encourage BIO students to give us feedback & keep us informed
• Follow up for any changes by contacting course reps regularly

Being involved in various committees and as Club Presidents in secondary school, I understand communication and teamwork are key towards improvement. 

Let us make our university experience better.
