Hello, I'm Eleanor!

i'm currently a second-year International Relations students, involved in the union council as the Art society representative, and I am running for a non-portfolio officer position. 

Library room bookings: 

The current system only allows for students to book one room a day, and maximum of a two-hour slot. 

This stops students from being able to move rooms for different events/reasons or using the rooms for any activity longer than two hours. 

I would seek to change this system, allowing students to book rooms for longer slots or more than one room a day. 

Pre-exam mocks and workshops

Covid has impacted students and has meant that some students haven't taken in person exam for up to four years. 

With in-person exams returning, the university should support students to prepare for these important exams, via providing mock exams and workshops. 

Overall, I hope to make UEA a better place to study and a better community overall.
