I am Chaitali Mandal, international student ambassador - India. You might have already interacted with me previously as I stood by you during pre-sessional mixers and in class. As an international PG student myself, I understand the intimidating challenges with regards to finding accommodation and travel options, understanding course modules and even communicating with advisors or fellow students. 
 

I wish to improve your socials with tailor-made events ranging from career networks to national and cultural events;  

Facilitate more interaction with advisors to help understand your scope of study or coursework and lobby for a better feedback scheme on the scope of improvement or in situations where you feel that you have been awarded unjustified low grades;  

Emphasize on better coursework reviews to prevent learning from becoming daunting ;  

Lobby for small rewards to help you achieve your big picture! 
 

Having worked with brands such as Tinder and Viral fission as a student ambassador gives me an edge to understand your needs better even if you are an introvert or hesitant. I am sure to be able to provide you with a safe space for your views and offer you unbiased solutions and answers to queries that I did not receive.  

In your one year at the UEA, I want to help you make the most of it in every way possible and will be happy to take up your suggestions all year round to fit in every scope of improvement be it to enhance your learning experience or socials.
