Hi! My name is Miriam, and I am your current, and hope to continue to be next year's, international students (non-EU) officer. I am an international student and understand what it means to look for HOME in a place you moved to. If you are willing to support an experienced candidate with various skills that is keen to continue providing an environment that's full of your HOME's sense of COMFORTABILITY, RECOGNITIION, and UNITY, then you need to #RevoteHomeByMiriam

Three things I'll continue to assure international students in UEA HOME:

BEING COMFORTABLE: I won't only continue providing you with anonymous feedback forms to voice any matter challenging your comfortability and act upon them, but also re-activate International Students Assembly. You will get the chance to attend a meeting with other UEA international students to voice your concerns!

BEING RECOGNIZED: I'll continue to assure the SU recognizes you in their decisions and plans. Approaching me won't be challenging and portraying your views will continue to be my mission. To recognize international students' cultures, interests, and presence, I'll be promoting more international events that highlight cultural celebrations and host regular international students meet ups.

BEING UNITED: As I continue to work on the Unite UEA program that aims to unite students regularly through activities and tasks, I aim to continue providing a sense of belonging and unity next year. I'll work on increasing engagement opportunities and supporting cultural societies in hosting events that promote a sense of unity and belonging.
