Womens Circle

Thursday 09 March 2023, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Bookable Room 4, Union House

There’s a magick when women gather in circle. There’s an unspoken sister code that says: ‘I see you, all of you is welcome here’ Since time began, women lived in tribes and communities. Gathering in sacred circle around the fire was a ritual.

* It was honoured

* We were honoured

* Our feminine cycles were honoured

* Our cycles were CELEBRATED!

* Our blood was sacred, holy, beautiful and of the earth.

Circles with a sacred centre around a fire in an ancient form of social interaction. Communities and tribes would cook, eat, tell stories, pray and commune with Mother Gaia under the stars, passing down the traditions that kept their cyclical lives flowing. Women gathered in sacred places and held space for each other. In circle, we are all equal. There is no hierarchy of power and divisive competition, judgement or gossip has no place.

In a world where a patriarchal society has forced women to adopt masculine energy to survive, we have lost our connection back to the feminine cycles. To feminine energy. We need a place where we can be authentically ourselves, vulnerable and strong.

Consider this your invitation! We gather to celebrate women all over the world for International Women’s Day Come and be truly seen, heard and witnessed! Shani has been holding women’s circles for over 4 years and loves holding space for the feminine to be seen, heard and witnessed.
