*All welcome – no prior Doctor Who knowledge required* Join the Geek Society as we celebrate sixty years of the classic sci-fi TV series Doctor Who with some of the very best episodes from 1963 to 2023!

Doctor Who follows the adventures of a mysterious time-traveller called the Doctor as they travel the universe with their friends, having adventures and righting wrongs. The Doctor is able to change their appearance when mortally wounded, and they have been played by many different actors since the show began way back in 1963. The current incarnation of the Doctor is played by David Tennant, and he will be back on our screens in November, alongside Catherine Tate as his friend Donna Noble, for three special episodes.

To celebrate Doctor Who’s sixtieth anniversary, GeekSoc are hosting the ultimate marathon of the best episodes from across the show’s run. We begin our first day in an underground bunker with the most dangerous creature in the universe in the tense story Dalek, then it's back to the 80s where we'll get in the church for Father's Day, before we explore a spooky old house with Sparrow and Nightingale in Blink, and apply for jobs with Harwood's Haulage in Meat, an episode of spin-off show Torchwood. Next up, we're back in London with the Doctor's old friend Donna Noble in Partners in Crime, before whizzing off to a planet-sized library with a secret in Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead, then to northern France to meet Vincent Van Gogh in Vincent and the Doctor, and finally to 13 Bannerman Road for Death of the Doctor, a crossover between Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
