Doctor Who follows the adventures of a mysterious time-traveller called the Doctor as they travel the universe with their friends, having adventures and righting wrongs. The Doctor is able to change their appearance when mortally wounded, and they have been played by many different actors since the show began way back in 1963. The current incarnation of the Doctor is played by David Tennant, and he will be back on our screens in November, alongside Catherine Tate as his friend Donna Noble, for three special episodes.

To celebrate Doctor Who’s sixtieth anniversary, GeekSoc are hosting three days of the best episodes from across the show’s run. Our second day begins in Paris for Doctor Who's first foreign location shoot in fan-favourite story City of Death, then we'll take in the sights of the tranquil Eye of Orion in the twentieth anniversary special The Five Doctors, pop on our head-torches for the gripping Caves of Androzani, feel sorry for Nicola Bryant for having to wear that awful costume in The Mark of the Rani, unleash evil, evil since the dawn of time in The Curse of Fenric, and finally go stateside with Paul McGann in the Doctor Who television movie. Just for fun, we're rounding off the weekend with a quick glimpse into the future with a fun trailer for the first series of the new version of the show.
