*All welcome – no prior Doctor Who knowledge required* Join the Geek Society as we celebrate sixty years of the classic sci-fi TV series Doctor Who with some of the very best episodes from 1963 to 2023!

        Have you ever thought what it's like to be wanderers in the fourth dimension?

Doctor Who follows the adventures of a mysterious time-traveller called the Doctor as they travel the universe with their friends, having adventures and righting wrongs. The Doctor is able to change their appearance when mortally wounded, and they have been played by many different actors since the show began way back in 1963. The current incarnation of the Doctor is played by David Tennant, and he will be back on our screens in November, alongside Catherine Tate as his friend Donna Noble, for three special episodes.

To celebrate Doctor Who’s sixtieth anniversary, GeekSoc are hosting three days of the best episodes from across the show’s run. The first day begins in a school in 1963, but we'll soon find ourselves in the distant past with a mysterious old man, his unearthly granddaughter, and two very confused schoolteachers in the very first episode from 1963, An Unearthly Child. From there, it's just a short hop to a future colony where everything is perfect in The Macra Terror, then back to Earth to meet the benevolent Axons in The Claws of Axos, before relaxing on sunny Cromer beach in the tenth anniversary story The Three Doctors. Finally, we'll travel by time-ring to the war-torn planet Scaro in fan-favourite story Genesis of the Daleks for a moment that will live in history...
