A note from the wellbeing team

The 5 ways to wellbeing are; connecting with others, being active, taking notice of the present moment, learning new skills and giving to others. Trying out these steps and making time for them in your daily life can help to improve your mental health and wellbeing. But it doesn't always have to be 5 different activities. There are lots of things which include more than one of these steps, like the Santa Run/Walk!! Taking part in the Santa Run/Walk can help you to connect, be active, take notice - and if you decide to volunteer at the event you are giving back too! Making it 4 out of your 5 ways! So, what are you waiting for!?

If you'd like to do more learning for your wellbeing (another one of the 5 ways) then check out the Student Services hub in organisations on Blackboard which includes a section on different wellbeing self-help skills: https://bit.ly/stshubuea
