My name is Serena Skinner and I’m from the school of BIO. I applied for this role to be able to make a change within the school of BIO in regards to closing the degree attainment gap. I aspire to be a voice of students of colour within BIO to ensure that the minority are heard. We will be working on decolonising the curriculum and building a community within BIO. I am looking forward to engaging with international and new students to ensure they feel involved within our community. I am also looking forward to some exciting events that we have planned!
