Our Main Events:
The Welcome Social
The welcome social is a great opportunity to meet other members of the society as well as your committee. The last few years we have had a bar crawl through Norwich enabling freshers can get to know the area, before heading back to either the LCR or into town for the official Fresher's events. We are usually able to negotiate some amazing drinks deals too. This year we have so many events planned, including a meet and greet, pub quiz, and much more, so keep your eyes peeled on our social media! It's always an enjoyable night and is a great kick start to the year!
The Winter Ball
One of our main annual events is our winter ball, a formal evening in the city to celebrate the end of the first semester.
We have previously held this event at Mr Postles' Apothecary and Revolución de Cuba with food and drinks deals and a photographer capturing the event. This SELLS OUT and is a great way to finish the first semester.
End of Year BBQ
During third semester we head down to the lake and have a BBQ to celebrate our achievements over the year and to de-stress after exams! It is also a great way to get to know the new committee for the next academic year.
Staff, postgraduates and families all usually attend the event and it's a lovely way to say goodbye to UEA for a few months as the academic year comes to an end.

The Summer Ball
The Summer Ball is one of the highlights of the year. Having previously been held at Carrow Road Stadium, The Assembly House, Rooftop Gardens, and Dunston Hall Hotel, this is THE event of the year. We have previously included photographers, performances by the UEA Jazz collective and photobooths with props!
Being able to dress up and celebrate the years achievements and successes always leads to a memorable night. As always, photos from previous years can be found on our Facebook page.

Sober Socials
We also run a number of sober socials throughout the year for those who don't drink and everyone who wants to do something different! In the past we have organised trips to the trampoline park, meals, and more recently we have run documentary screenings which have been a huge success.
Env Soc Sweatshirts
We have personalised merchandise available to purchase throughout the year. These have the Env Soc logo embroided on the front and the option to personalise with your name / nickname / course! These get released a couple of times over the academic year, so keep checking our social media and the SU page for details and availability!
Ziggur
at Challenge
Every year we take part in the University wide Ziggurat Challenge. We aim to improve our turn out and results every year, but it is a brilliant way to meet other people in the faculty and try a new sport in an informal way! Head over to ueasport for information on the whole event.
