to the UEA Language and Communication Studies Society!

Whether you are an LCS student or you're from another one of UEA's schools, we can't wait to meet you and share our love of languages!

We are looking forward to running lots of events and socials throughout the year, so follow us on Instagram to stay up to date and make sure to buy a membership so that you don't miss any emails from us.

The school of LCS' main languages are French, Spanish, and Japanese, but as a society we are looking forward to collaborating with a variety of UEA's cultural societies.

Everyone is welcome regardless of language abilities.

What will we do for you?

Run fun socials and events for anyone interested in languages and learning about different cultures
Provide opportunities for language learners to meet native speakers and fellow learners
Provide a place for you to meet other LCS students outside of lectures and encourage across years integration and sharing of knowledge/expertise
Help and support our members with any questions or queries
