Officer Statement on the Russia-Ukraine Crisis

Published Mon 28 Feb 2022 13:57

Here at uea(su) we are all very concerned with the events that are unfolding in the Ukraine and our hearts go out to all who are impacted by these terrible events.

We understand that this is a very difficult time for all. If you need any support or someone to talk about this current crisis, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us or any of the other support available to you – please see below.

Our students’ union is made up of members who come from across the world and we as a community benefit from the diversity that this brings. As such, despite current events, we urge you to remember that we should not equate the policies of international Governments with their respective citizens, many of whom who are also active members of our community at uea(su).

If any relevant student groups wish to facilitate any further meetings or discussions to discuss these events as they unfold, then we are at hand to offer our support. Please feel free to contact us.

We are always here to support you and remember you are not alone.

With love and support,

Your Full Time Officer Team
