Debating Taster Session

Join us for a fun evening where we take part in a variety of public speaking activities. Or if that isn't what you're into, come along anyways and observe and vote for your favourite speeches.

This society was established to cultivate the debating skills among the university's cohorts. However, this year, we would like to start off with something more casual. This informal session will involve healthy discussions about a veru relevant cultural topic in a less structured fashion. It will also involve activities that help foster public speaking ability. This may include games like Just a Minute (JAM) and balloon debating as well as the broader discussion of a "This House Believes" motion.
