UEA Sport Awards 2024

The UEA Sport Awards will be taking place on Friday 10th May. The awards are a chance for us to celebrate our achievements in sport and to recognise outstanding contributions both socially, competitively and professionally over the past year. 

We hope to have as many clubs & volunteers at the event as possible. Please note this event is for uea+sport membership holders only.  

Here are the important timelines for ticket purchasing and award nominations: 

• Friday 1st March 2pm: tickets on sale, and awards nominations open 

• Monday 1st April 11:30pm: awards nominations close 

• Monday 15th April 12pm: individuals/teams/clubs are informed if they have been shortlisted for any awards and can purchase tickets 

• Sunday 21st April 10pm: all ticket sales close 

Event Details 

When: Friday 10th May 2024 

Where: LCR, Union House, University of East Anglia, NR4 7TJ 

Cost: £40 (plus booking fee, ticket price includes 2 course meal with a drink) 

Arrival Time: 7pm – 7:45pm 

Awards Start: 8pm 

Dress Code: Formal  

Awards Close: 11pm 

Blue Bar After Party: 11pm - 1:30am - Please note you do not need a separate ticket for the after party if you have a main entry ticket to the awards.

Menu Choice 

Main Course: Chargrilled Garlic, Lemon & Herb Lamb Shoulder OR Chargrilled Harissa & Tahini Aubergine (VEG). 

All accompanied by Warm Sourdough Flatbreads, Hummus & Baba Ghanoush, Feta, Olives, Red Onion, Tomatoes and Cucumber Salad, Orzo, Roasted Red Peppers, Fried Courgette, Wild Garlic Pesto and Baby leaf Salad. 

Dessert: Baked Yoghurt & Honey Cheesecake OR Vegan Tiramisu.
