Try Paddleboarding Taster

Try out our low cost paddleboarding taster at the beautiful Whitlingham Country Park

UEA Sport are providing this fantastic opportunity to try paddleboarding with us at Whitlingham Adventure, based at Whitlingham Country Park.

The timings are:

1. 14:15, meet at the Megabus stop on campus so that we can drive you to Whitlingham in the UEA Sport minibuses
2. 15:00 - 17:00, paddlboarding session at Whitlingham Adventure
3. 17:30, arrive back to campus (depending on traffic)

There are limited tickets available so make sure you get yours before they sell out!  Tickets will be available from 08:00 on Friday 8th until 08:00 on Friday 22nd September.

What to bring:

As this is a watersport you need to prepare for potentially getting your clothes wet, so please bring a towel and spare change of clothes. You will need to wear trainers whilst taking part in the session.  If it is cold wetsuits and waterproofs can be provided as well as a buoyancy aids (lifejacket).  Please bring a water bottle and any snacks you may like, food is not provided at the centre.

You will need to disclose any medical information to the qualified instructors on the day so that they can be prepared to help in any circumstances.

If you purchase a ticket please make sure to turn up to the activity, as we want to ensure we provide as many opportunities for students as possible.  If you do not turn up without prior notice then we will not be able to refund you, if you contact us in advance and we are able to find someone else to replace your space on the activity then we will be able to refund your ticket.
