City Of Ale Launch Party

Please note: This is an 18+ event. Please bring in-date photo ID with you - No ID, no entry. Passport/driving license only accepted for entrance and the sale of alcohol. Unfortunately Citizenship, PASS and student cards are not accepted as valid ID.

The annual City of Ale party launches this month-long celebration of pub and brewers, in style at the Waterfront. Our festival of champions brings together over 50 award-winning ales and craft beers – on cask and keg to celebrate the breweries of Norfolk and Suffolk.

With dozens of local ales to try and specially brewed guest cask and keg beers and some surprise beers from Belgium arriving by boat direct to the riverside keg and craft bar! This includes unique collaborations of Norfolk and Flanders brewers.

Norfolk & Norwich CAMRA are manning the gravity bar, there's Sir Toby’s craft beer bar in the garden, morris dancers doing dangerous things with sticks, there's two live bands and Lucca’s pizzas!

 Plus, stalls and activities.

Join publicans, brewers, CAMRA folk, Norwich City Hosts, City of Ale organisers, beer writers and beer lovers from near and far for a celebration of fine ale in the fine city. Beer there!

Live music with a mix of covers and originals to deliver a floor filing party set.

£11 in advance (£13 on the door) to include three free pints and souvenir festival glass.

Thereafter all City of Ale pints are just £3.
