I have a two year experience as a PPL course representative. During this time, along with other reps. we have managed to make some improvements within our school. However, I believe that they’re some issues that should be addressed at faculty level. Most importantly, the undermining of arts and humanities courses in comparison to other courses in the university. For instance, what is very problematic is the 30 credit module system for third years, but also, the general coordination and organisation of the courses and their modules. Furthermore, I find important for the schools within this faculty to make more effort and be able to meet the needs of their students.
