Hi everyone,

I would like to take the non portfolio role to focus on something that I have personally been effected by during my time at uea.

UEA sport culture has gotten worse over the last few years with some 1st years feeling unsafe and unwelcome in uea because of poor behavior.

Alot of the behavior goes unseen and unnoticed. That needs to change. I'm running for this role to really support students in reporting and refusing to engage in behaviour like this within sport.

I want to contribute to the current work going on in improving this and to make you all feel safe at uea to partake in any sport you wish.
