Putting the 'trans' back into 'transparency'.

Hello!

Who are you?
I'm Dean, my pronouns are he/him, and I'm hoping to be your LGBTQ+ Trans Officer for the second year in a row.

What are you going to do for me?
- Last year, I think we did some great work in providing LGBTQ+ events in liaison with socities and other officers, and I want to continue that this year.
- With the incoming social, economic, and political climate, it's going to be difficult for those of us that sit underneath the trans umbrella. I aim to make myself open and available for anyone who feels like they have nobody to talk to, whether that's in regards to gender or sexuality. It can be hard to go through university life feeling like you have no-one is in your corner, and I want to make sure that everyone feels at least a little bit accepted during their time at UEA.

Thank you for taking the time to read this manifesto, and I hope to be able to represent you once again this year.
