Hey! My names Nathan and I’m running to be an NUS delegate. I’m originally from Cambridgeshire and I have always been involved in community projects and local events. I want to use my experience as an advocate for my town to make UEA a better place to work, live and study at.
Fight Fee Increases and review Student Finances England
The cost of living is going through the roof. I'll fight to make sure that students don't have to pay more than their fair share.
Accomodation Prices
I want to see a freeze put in place on accomodation costs on campus. Why should we be forced to pay so much for so little?
Mental Health Support
The wait times for help at UEA are too long. I'll fight for a bigger mental health budget to bring down wait times and help UEA students.
Decarbonise UEA
Protecting our environment is as important to me as it is to you. I’ll make sure the University and SU are ethical and aren’t supporting polluters.
I support the Divestment Coalition and its call for an ethical investment policy.
Support for strike action
I helped to promote the 2020 rent strike that got UEA students an £800 rebate on our rent.
As a trade unionist, I wholeheartedly support the forthcoming strike action and the national student walkout on the 2nd of March.
