Creating a new society

If you have a new idea, passion or hobby that you think other students will love too, you can look to create your own Society. To do this you first need to find 20 other students who are interested, which you can do by proposing your new idea further down this page.

For more information on the next steps after this point, download our guidance document.

We are a student-run society for anyone interested in learning more about pathology and its role in medicine! Throughout the year, we aim to organise: ? teaching sessions reviewing core concepts ? blood film, histology slide and pathology image interpretation sessions ? revision quizzes (with prizes!!) ? clinical scenarios ? MOSCEs ? one-to-one careers advice with pathologists Whether you’re considering a career in pathology or simply curious about how diseases are diagnosed, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Our sessions are designed to make pathology engaging, accessible and relevant, helping you build on what you learn in the curriculum while exploring the specialty in a more practical and interactive way. As a new society, we are also keen to hear your ideas and explore other activities or events that you would like us to organise, so please feel free to share your suggestions with us!

9:39pm on 15 Oct 26 sounds very interesting and useful, pathology is a theme students struggle with so having a society put things in place for it would be a lifesaver!
