Welcome to the Arts and Humanities Society!

The Arts and Humanities Society brings students together across courses, disciplines, and interests to share ideas and support each other!

What can you expect?

We offer a welcoming society with a range of socials and events aiming to create connections among humanities students, along with cultural trips to enjoy the university experience beyond the classroom!
Beyond socials we also have a focus on peer support, running regular study drop-in sessions where you can work and discuss projects in an informal setting among your academic peers - perfect for when you can't find a seat in the librart or that one lecturer won't reply to your email when you ask for advice!
The Society was founded in 2025 as a result of a student-led initiative, with the intention to foster a sense of community between students across the wide variety of Humanities disciplines. From foundation years to postgrads, everybody is welcome in the A&H Soc, and we hope to help you find your place here at UEA!
