Publishing - Egg Box

Egg Box Publishing is a student-led imprint of UEA Publishing Project. We're an exciting, student-led publishing house with a long history of discovering fresh student voices, and we want you to join us!

One of our main projects each year is publishing the annual Undergraduate Creative Writing Anthology, and as a member there are lots of ways you can get involved, from submitting your own creative work to helping behind the scenes! It looks great on a C.V. and we hold a glitzy launch event to celebrate at the end of the year.

Our members publish everything from chapbooks to zines, booklets and flyers. We publish other smaller publications as a society throughout the year, helping to showcase the talent of UEA creatives.

We also host a number of events and socials on campus and further afield to connect our members and find out more about the publishing industry. For example, we have had stalls at several local print fairs where we met a wide range of authors, artists and craftspeople, and have co-hosted socials with other societies like Creative Writing and Art Society. By joining Egg Box society you're joining a friendly collaborative society that is passionate about collective making and learning about the publishing industry.

We frequently attend UEA enterprise fairs to sell our zines and run workshops on campus where anyone is free to collaborate and experiment with ideas they have, and to get help with their own self-publishing projects - keep an eye on our Instagram for details about these throughout the year.
