The Photography Society's mission statement is to be: relaxed, laid-back, creative and fun! There are no expectations of ability, experience or commitment. Just have fun!

Whether you are a total beginner with no experience in photography, to those with extreme niches' (we see you large format film photographers), there something for everyone!! We have a plethora of events we hope to host:

Photowalks Around the UK: Always wanted to go travel to take photos but didn't have anyone to go with? We plan to host several photowalks across the UK (and with the possibility of being abroad) to help broaden your view by introducing new environments.
Workshops: Whether you're a beginner, or have a niche you really want to scratch, we plan to host several workshops to those who need it. Things such as film photography development, Lightroom tutorials, or just the basics of photography. Some workshops may be ran by invited guests within the photography space!
Student-Run Galleries: Want your work to be noticed? We can help setup galleries to show off our member's best work. Each event will be themed so that students can share their best work within that genre.
Meet and Greets: Welcome events will be organised to let you meet others within the photography space, and make some long lasting friends! These would be great networking opportunities (and showing off your gear to others)!
Regular Socials: We offer regular socials (both sober and alcoholic) that are photography and non-photography related. There's never any pressure to drink and we don't tolerate this nor any other behaviour that makes any of our members uncomfortable. If you do feel this way, we urge you to speak to someone on committee.
