The Speech and Language Therapy Society is for anyone with an interest in Speech and Language Therapy, not only for those studying it. SLTs work with those who have communication and/or swallowing difficulties across the lifespan. An important part of our society is fundraising for charities associated with Speech and Language Therapy as well as raising overall awareness of what SLTs do through working with the Giving Voice Charity. Membership will give you free access to our ‘Special Interest Groups’ (SIGs), which we run throughout the year focusing on various aspects of SLT. These are great to go towards your Continued Professional Development. We also run socials throughout the year so all our members can get to know each other and seek advice from older year groups!
