Welcome to PBU UEA, part of the rapidly growing Plant-Based Universities campaign that has seen amazing success since its start in 2021. With over 80 student-led campaigns worldwide, pushing for fully plant-based catering, 12 universities have already agreed to a full transition! This society is motivated to achieve the same, here at UEA. So much research and existing knowledge point toward a plant-based diet being far better for ourselves, the planet, and the animals we share it with. So let's get UEA to do something about it! A sustainable future starts with what we eat.
We are a group of passionate activists, environmentalists and campaigners looking for other students wanting to see this important change. Being a member has many benefits, including exclusive or discounted events, freebies and workshops. Consider joining our campaign even if you just want to attend the socials. Please get in touch and join our budding team to make a real difference.
We have regular socials, events and trips with new people joining all the time. Get to know like-minded individuals who care about our future. Our previous events have included outreach, workshops, games nights, picnics and camping trips, with so much planned for the future.
