UEA Student Society of the year 2020, 2026 | UEA event of the year 2025 | Shortlisted for National Fundraising Society of 2016

We are the largest student-led society at the University of East Anglia. We represent medical students at every level within the university and we work closely with academic staff and the student union to ensure that you are fully supported throughout your time at medical school.

What we do:

Organise a wide range of social events, including our famous MedSoc Freshers Week!
Work closely with the medical school and SU to represent you and your needs as medical students.
Provide financial support to our members - all members can apply for conference bursaries of £20 per year, and our hardship fund of up to £100.
Grant £10 off when you join a Medic sports team in your first year!
Give you access to exclusive revision materials, as well as lectures on intercalation/electives
Host fantastic charity events - we have recently raised over £4000 for The Hamlet
Throw exciting winter and summer formal ebents
