Daytime Events

As your students union, we offer a full programme of clubs and societies for our membership to make the most of their university experience and help find their community. Please note that you will need a UEA Sport+ Membership to sign up with any of our clubs. We also put on events for many different communities within UEA, as well as our clubs and societies.

What's a club?

Clubs are groups of students who participate in a specific sport; meeting regularly to train, socialise and compete. If your club is part of the BUCS collective, you may even get the chance to represent UEA at the prestigious Derby Day!

What's a society?

Societies are a collective or peer support group who all share a common interest (ie. anime, burlesque, radio, etc). These groups can be invaluable ways to find your community during your time at university. There is also an annual Society Awards evening to celebrate the achievements of our societies properly!
