Academic Integrity

Helping you understand the core values of academic integrity and UEA's expectations.

Academic Integrity is a core value and set of behaviours that all students are expected to uphold during their time at University.

UEA's Academic Integrity policy outlines the principles of these behaviours, and what happens if that policy is breached – constituting academic misconduct.

The Student Guidance for Academic Integrity document (Appendix A) has more information about how students can interpret the University's policy. Staff guidance is also available (Appendix B).

We want all students to be informed about what’s expected of them, and this page will outline the main principles of academic integrity.

If you've been accused of academic misconduct, or have been invited to an Academic Integrity meeting, please see our dedicated page here
