After a long voyage you find yourself on the shores of the uncharted, uninhabited, and resource rich island of Catan. You have grand dreams of what this island could become if put under your stewardship. But wait… fellow Games Soc members have landed here too, and they have the same ambition. Prepare for old friendships and newfound connections alike to be put to the ultimate test in Games Soc’s CATAN tournament.
The tournament will follow standard CATAN tournaments rules. This will be gone over at the event and moderated by a committee member. Everyone will take part in three preliminary rounds with the most successful participants going onto the final.
2 preliminaries will take place on the 30th of September with the last preliminary and the final taking place on the 14th of October. This means that to fully participate you will need to be free on both days.
Tickets are £5 each. You only need one ticket to participate in both event days. There will be prizes for first, second and third place contestants.
You do not need to bring a copy of CATAN but if you do please ensure that it is labelled.
