Get ready to dive in to UEA Burlesque and Friends’ Mermaids Fundraiser! This 18+ cabaret night will have you at the edge of your seat with sensual burlesque routines, incredible drag acts, a raffle with incredible prizes and even a pole dance performance! All proceeds from the show will go to the charity Mermaids.
Tickets are £7.50 for everyone and will be available from the SU website: if you’ve been curious about burlesque or drag, now is the time! Doors will open at 7pm on Tuesday 19th May in the LCR for a 7:30pm show start.
Mermaids is a charity that supports trans, non-binary and gender diverse youth in the UK and has been doing so since 1995. Since their inception, they have worked to provide education and information to professionals and organisations on how to best support trans+ youth.
We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all our guests, which means we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We welcome people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds to come together and enjoy the show.
