By-Elections

What is a by-election?

The uea(su) by-elections are held near the start of each academic year to fill any roles that were not filled in the spring main election. The roles that are up for grabs vary, but our Postgraduate Committee places are always elected in the by-election.

This year, the full list of roles available are:

TBD

How can I take part?

To run in the by-election, you will need to nominate yourself for one of the roles. Read the descriptions for each role, and decide which one you're most interested in. Once nominations are open, you can nominate yourself using the link below.

Why are by-elections important?

We want to make sure that we are listening to the voices of our students. With all our student officer, convenor, and Postgraduate Committee roles filled, we can be sure that we have an effective and representative student voice system.
