UEA PrideSoc is a peer support group that aims to help LGBTQ+ students and allies find community, share knowledge, and enjoy their time at university. We strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where students can meet new people or even just find a space to relax!
Our events include:- A weekly bar meet at Dorothy's (the gay bar on campus, upstairs in the SU) - dates and times for the 2026/27 academic year incoming! There's no pressure to drink here, just a weekly opportunity to chill out and chat with other queer students. - A weekly board game night. Dates, times and locations for the 2026/27 academic year to follow! Bring your favourite board games and hang out, make rivalries, etc. - A whole host of bar crawls, movie nights, pregaming meets, trips to pride events in the city, and collaborations with other societies. Watch this space!We hope to have something for everyone, and we're always open to suggestions! We aim to keep costs as low as possible - our society membership is completely free, and so are the vast majority of our events. You're welcome to pop along to everything, or only come along for the occasional bar meet.
