The UEA Chess Society exists to promote the game of chess within the University of East Anglia. The Society welcomes players with all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to experienced players. We offer a friendly and constructive atmosphere to play in, along with an active and varied social scene, that includes regular sober social events. We also regularily hold collaboration events with other groups, including chess societies at other universities. We intend to send teams to tournaments across the country throughout the year, with all members able to apply to represent the UEACS.
