Dear member, we are delighted to welcome you aboard the official UEA-Glide page, 

•  Have you ever looked up at the sky and wondered what the ground looks like from up there? Gliding is the purest, finest form of flying and the closest you will ever experience to being a bird. Offering an escape from all of your worries like no other experience can offer. It is the ultimate adventure sport, a sport that requires the pilot to harness the power of nature to stay airborne whether they’re flying locally to their club, flying long distances, or soaring at high altitudes.

• While offering students, professors, and staff the chance to receive elite flight training in gliders, we also offer a taste of the world of aviation and all of its social aspects. Improve your team working skills, decision-making, risk management, and much more with gliding! We are affiliated with the Norfolk Gliding Club (the club from which we operate) and the British Gliding Association (the main gliding association in the UK).
