Welcome to UEA Equestrian Club! Open to all students at UEA, we offer lessons for new, social and competitive riders at Weston Equestrian Centre.
Our socials include hacking, beach rides, weekly sports night, movie nights, seasonal dinners and weekly training sessions.
RIDING LESSONS 26/27
As a member of the club, you receive £3 off your lesson price at our club centres. The subsidised lesson prices are included in the prices listed below.
Lifts are provided an hour and 10 minutes before riding starts to allow time for travel and tacking up.
Prices: £27 per lesson alongside your equestrian and UEA Sport membership.
BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE LESSONS (BILs)
These lessons are targeted towards people who are just starting out to ride or are returning back to riding after a while. Group lessons take place at Weston Equestrian Centre on Fridays.
THURSDAY 6PM: Beginner lessons
FRIDAY 6PM: Intermediate lessons
COMPETITION AND FRIENDLY TEAMS
DEVELOPMENT TEAM:
Expected to be able to walk, trot and canter unassisted as well as jump a cross pole in view of learning to jump a course independently.

BUCS TEAM:
Both teams must be able to adapt to different types of horses.
1s: expected to be able to compete novice dressage tests and jump a course at a minimum of 80cm.
WEDNESDAY 4PM
2s: expected to be able to compete a prelim dressage test and jump a course at a minimum of 70cm.
