UEA Lacrosse (The Eagles) comprises of the University's Men's Lacrosse Team, two Women's Lacrosse Teams and a Mixed Lacrosse Team. Three teams compete in BUCS competitions, with the Men's Team now playing in Midlands Tier 1 after their promotion, the Women's 1st Team and the Women's 2nd Team both playing in Midlands Tier 2B. Whilst the Mixed Team playing in the East Mixed League.
Our Men’s team is in a really strong position and is looking to build on their success of winning the league and the Midlands Conference Cup last season. With a competitive squad and plenty of opportunities to develop your game, the team is ideal for anyone, even beginners, who are looking to play at a high level and compete for the university.
Both our women’s teams train regularly and compete in fixtures throughout the season, giving players the opportunity to represent the university against teams from across the country. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous lacrosse experience, everyone is welcome and you don’t need to have played before to get involved and enjoy all the perks that come with competing in BUCS, from travelling to away fixtures to representing your university on the field.
Being a mixed club with over 100 members in 2025/26 we have had a brilliant year on and off the pitch. From nights out and socials with the wider club to team events and getting together after games, there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people, make friends and get involved beyond lacrosse, the club also gets involved in a range of events and competitions throughout the year, including BUCS Sixes and Bath Eights.
The year ended with a huge double win, with both the Men's and Women’s beating our varsity rivals, University of Essex, at Derby day!
