A brief intro, covering how theatres work day-to-day, who team members are, key practicalities for your placements and top tips for assisting in theatre!
A surgical etiquette lesson - covering how to maintain sterility and be not just neutral, but useful in theatre.
Teaching from an NNUH scrub nurse on surgical instruments and draping!
Practical stations, including:
- scrubbing in effectively
- gloving and gowning
- and instrument identification and handling

Tickets are now available on the SU website - see you there!
