NEWSCI

Join us for Model UN's second crisis of the semester!

Based on the chaotic Russian Revoution in the early 20th century delegates will have the chance to play as members of either the provisional Government or the Petrograd Soviet as they try to steer the country through an incredibly turbulent time.

A Model UN Crisis is a simulated conflict or event and is a practical way to learn more about politics, history and sometimes psychology. If you've never taken part before, don't worry! Everything is explained beforehand and there will be plenty of support.

This event will be divided over three sessions, with a smaller introductory session on the Friday evening where we will go over what a crisis is and how it works. This will be followed by a short debate allowing you to get a feel for the event and make alliances. If you can't make it, don't worry, this session is not compulsory. This will be in bookable room 6 fom 16:30 on Friday the 15th

Saturday and Sunday will be sessions lasting for the full day (10:30am-5pm), this will be the majority of the crisis and will take place within NEWSCI.
