The UEA Geek Society is pleased to announce the UEA Taskmaster auditions!
Taskmaster is a comedy game show on Channel 4 which sees a panel of five comedians completing creative and critical-thinking tasks in unusual ways to appease the mighty Taskmaster. What you may not know is that we here at the UEA have our very own mighty Taskmaster, the imposing, amazing, infallible Parker Job. Parker will be assisted, as always, by the meek, good enough, and somewhat fallible Little Izzy Wayland, the UEA Taskmaster’s assistant, overseer of tasks and keeper of scores.
Whether you’re a big Taskmaster fan and have always wanted the opportunity to embarrass yourself in front of an audience, or you’ve never heard of it and you just fancy doing something a bit silly, UEA Taskmaster is the thrilling experience for you!
The auditions will take place in JSC 2.02 on Tuesday the 3rd of November. To sign up for an audition slot, simply fill out this form: https://forms.gle/V2M7fUEFbNxDha578
We’ll be in touch by Sunday the 1st with your audition slot, but if you can’t make it on the day then FEAR NOT! Simply fill out the form regardless and check the relevant box for people who aren’t available and we’ll reach out to arrange an alternative.
Alternatively, you’re very welcome to just show up on the day and hang around outside the audition room – we’ll definitely have spare slots that we can fill!
Make good choices.
