RadSoc is delighted to be launching our first practical ultrasound skills teaching series, which will be open to all MBBS students at Norwich Medical School. Whether you are interested in radiology, acute medicine, or a particular surgical or medical specialty, it is likely that you will encounter ultrasound during clinical practice.
We are grateful to have the support of the East of England Imaging Academy and guest faculty from various departments of the Norwich and Norfolk University Hospital.
Our first seminar, “Introduction to Ultrasound”, will be taught by Dr. Jonathan Johnson (Radiology). We will be covering the clinical application of ultrasound, and Dr. Johnson will be demonstrating the basics of using ultrasound equipment. There may be opportunities for you to practice using an ultrasound machine (TBC).
Students from all years are welcome to join this seminar. We strongly recommend those who are interested in our later seminars to attend this session. Tickets are limited, so get yours as soon as possible!
