1st Bowling Social

Hello and welcome to UEA Bowling, and Welcome Back to our returning members!

We can now announce our very first social for the year! Join us on Monday 2nd of October at Hollywood Bowl in Norwich. Ways to access this are listed below for newcomers!

We meet at Hollywood Bowl for 7pm to be on the lanes by 7:15pm, however the President, AJ, will be at the venue from 6pm to meet up with new members who would like to come a little earlier and those who might feel a little bit apprehensive about coming. We have two games of casual Bowling, sometimes both games are Classic Bowling, or sometimes we change things up with HyperBowling! We have lots of fun and laughter! Afterwards, please feel free to join us for drinks and food at the Queen of Iceni Wetherspoons just across the road!

Our first social, as it is in October, will have a Black History Month Theme. So please come along in bright vibrant colours such as; Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange. You are also welcome to wear cultural prints too! We would love to celebrate BHM with you all :) It is not mandatory to come in theme, but it's always more fun ;)

Tickets are £10 and this includes 2x Games of Bowling and also a drink, these will be available until Monday 25th September at 3pm. If you miss the cutoff, simply contact our social media pages, or email AJ directly (a.hobbs@uea.ac.uk) and we will get this sorted for you! If you wish to turn up on the day, please let the committee know for numbers, however, your ticket will likely be slightly more expensive if you join on the day.

You can access Hollywood Bowl via the 25/26 bus route. Simply get off the bus at the train station and walk across the road and you will be in the Riverside Estate. Walk around to the cinema and Hollywood Bowl is next to it. You can also access Hollywood Bowl by a 10 minute walk through the city centre from St. Stephens Street, or there is plenty of parking at Riverside for those who may be driving!
